TILI Score

Thrombectomy in Limb Ischemia

The Thrombectomy in Limb Ischemia (TILI) Score is a standardized angiographic grading system designed to objectively assess the technical success of thrombectomy procedures in acute limb ischemia. The score evaluates both lesion recanalization and peripheral embolization, addressing limitations of current outcome measures that rely primarily on vessel patency and clinical endpoints.

Developed by the TILI Research Group, the TILI Score is modeled on established coronary and cerebral thrombectomy scores and adapted to the unique anatomical and procedural challenges of limb ischemia. It is primarily intended as a procedural endpoint for clinical trials and aims to improve comparability, reproducibility, and evaluation of thrombectomy efficacy across devices and techniques.
